ABOUT THE WOOLLY'S STORIES BOOK SERIES

 

Woolly’s Stories are based on parables and stories from the Bible where sheep are used as symbols to depict our relationship with Jesus, our Good Shepherd. The stories are told by Woolly who is also a sheep character and who teaches children more about Jesus who is our Good Shepherd.

 

These stories form part of seven stories that teach the reader biblical truths by systematically learning the character of God, his love for us, and that He has walked a path with man throughout the ages and is still doing so. Come and listen to Woolly’s stories for children aged 3 to 9.

 

BOOK ONE: WHERE'S MY LITTLE LAMB

 

In Where's My Little Lamb? (Waar's My Lammertjie?) we get to know Woolly the storyteller. We meet Sookie, her mother and Kind Shepherd. Sookie gets lost when a fierce storm hits. Will someone come to save her? Sookie also receives her name in this book... and she learns that Kind Shepherd knows and calls each sheep by name.

 

BOOK TWO: The Whistle, the Staff and the Rod

 

In Story Two: The Whistle, the Staff, and the Rod (Die fluit, die staf en die stok) Woolly tells the story of where Sookie learns what Kind Shepherd's special whistle sounds like, and that she must listen carefully to his whistle, otherwise she might get into trouble! She also learns how Kind Shepherd protects and leads his flock with his rod and his staff...

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rachel-Mari Ackermann is happily married to Quentin Ackermann and lives in Pretoria, South Africa. She believes that God the Father has given her a passion to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach in Hebrew) to the children of the nations as an instrument in his hand. This book is also available in Afrikaans.
